The beds are solidified clouds. The TV is big and equipped with Direct TV. Room didn't smell like tobacco even after you blast the cold AC. The coffee shop is great and delicious. No shady suspects in the area at all. Great stay. Oh! You get 30 percent off at the coffee shop if you're staying at in the Hotel!! Hope this helps someone decide 🤘

The cafe was great, good options made with actual, real food, (real eggs, bacon) not the powder/rubber you normally get with free continental. I also had a mazapan latte that was fantastic! While the meals are not included with the price of your stay, they are discounted if you are a guest, and the prices were very reasonable, much cheaper than a Dennys for a example, and much better quality, we paid about $25 for two meals and two specialty coffees. There is also an arcade area, great if you have kids and they show movies at the pool. There is also a pit in the pool area where you can make smores, they even include the skewers when you buy the little smores kit. Room was basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Close to the freeway.

Second time staying here and everything has been good so far. People are not too loud, area isn’t sketchy. There’s the trolley and a lot of fast foods options near the area. Beds are pretty comfy, I always judge by their pillows and they are great. Bathroom is basic, will have to say that the water pressure for the shower is amazing. Definitely will keep coming back

It was a very cool vibe but the rooms didn’t smell clean. Our toddlers socks were filthy after 5 mins of putting them on and him walking around the room. And it wouldn’t kill them to use fabric softener or detergent that smells cleans

This was a very affordable hotel, but they needed to do things to make that a reality. The room was old but had fresh paint. The curtain didn't cover the window enough to keep out the light, a little rust in the bathtub, not the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen, and there wasn't a frig or microwave. It wasn't the worst and I was okay with it for the price. It was loud due to proximity to the highway, I imagine staying on the pool side would have been better.

Super cute motel! Hassle free, fast check in. Close to highway if driving, a 5 min walk from public transit and easily accessible to downtown. Next door to a casino. Had pool, fire pit, and indoor and outdoor games. There was a coffee shop at the motel. Very clean rooms. Quiet in motel and nearby. Area at night is a bit sketchy at times but had no issues. Only downside was that there was no mini fridge in the room. Would stay here again.

Very clean facility, friendly staff and easy and plenty of parking. Also good location, not too far from dining and shopping and access to big roads. Room was clean, immediate hot water and good pressure in the shower. The only think I was missing was mini fridge in the room and maybe microwave, but I can easily overlook that for all the thinks mentioned above and the price. I am glad and happy that we have stayed there.

The pictures make it seem big but it’s really small. Very compact and no fridge. Who has heard of a room no fridge. Also, the bathroom door no lock.

I booked this for my daughter and her boyfriend. After check out they tried to charge my daughter for a pillow case that she knows for a fact that she never took.. she then told them to check everywhere. She said that they probably miscounted it and swears that she never took a pillowcase. The cards were deactivated three times so they had a hard time getting in their room and then the pool was closed on a few days that they were there.

We loved our stay! There are parts of these older rooms that I wish they’d updated! Particularly, the bathroom is fine but un-updated. Also, the light over the sinks need to be done away with. It was difficult to do our makeup under that dimmer light! Only other thing is the lack of a mini-fridge! That would make a huge difference! We would have liked to have kept our drinks cold and to have kept left overs from our dinners! Otherwise, the staff was kind and the rooms are very clean! Location is right near transportation and the freeway is super close! You can get where you’re going with little effort!

Our family of two adults & two teens stayed one night. The room was pretty small but the beds were comfortable. The decor & theme of the hotel is cute & they have a cafe with arcade games connected to the office. We appreciated having a breakfast spot right across from our room. The young lady at the cafe was great & hardworking! This would be a great budget stay for a family with young kids. They have pool & bikes that they lend out. The location has plenty of bike trails nearby & was convenient to Balboa Park & other San Diego local attractions.

Nice Motor Inn

It serves the purpose, clean bed and restrooms. There is no extra niceties like microwave, iron etc… Obviously not necessary when making a pit stop to rest.
