Sonesta would have received higher rating had they provided free coffee and/or continental breakfast. No microwave in room. I had lost my iPad and spent a major portion of my day trying to locate it, the staff was involved, however assured me it was not in a room I previously was in, finally had to demand they open door, sure enough it was in room.

Room 410 smell so bad that I ended up getting sick and was moved to another room. Front desk male had an attitude because I asked to move. Was told by cleaning lady that a lady lived in that room for a month with lots of cats and a dog. I still have that foul smell in my nose.

The only unfavorable thing for me was the strong “foo-foo” smell when you walk in and it carried through the ground level. Our room was on the third floor and it wasn’t as strong and was bearable there and the room. Very perfume-y…not pleasant. Other than that…the room was clean, quiet and basic but with everything you need and the bed and linens were incredibly comfortable!!

The hotel is conveniently located. They do charge for parking that we weren't aware of. The staff is helpful and courteous. You can pay for Starbucks coffee in the large welcome area or make coffee in your room. There is a small refrigerater in your room but no microwave. They have remodeled the rooms but lack pictures on the walls. There is no restaurant in the hotel. It is dog friendly. The rooms are smaller than we are used to but did have a sleeer sofa in our king-size room. Our room had a very large swivel tv which was nice. I would pay more for the room if they would offer free breakfast.
