Very simple: it is hard to book in Yosemite Valley on short notice. This hotel is the nearest to the entrance and just 30 minutes from the Yosemite Valley. As a bonus, there is a beautiful river that runs right behind the hotel. We always stay in the Valley but decided to go on short notice and try this hotel. It worked out very nicely. Location, location.

Convenient location, nice property and clean room, with a small glitch - WiFi is almost unusable when many guests use it at the same time. So be prepared for very slow WiFi during summer.

This place was minutes to the Yosemite entrance, which made getting in very easy. It also had nice pools to relax in after a day of hiking. Rooms were nice and right on the river, so the views and scenery were beautiful.

The hotel is a perfect location for exploring the Yosemite Valley, Glacial point and the wider park area. Being only a 20 minute drive to Curry Village and the main valley area, this was perfect for our visit. Food option are limited more so with time (9pm finish on food) which you need to consider when exploring the wider park. The pools and picnic area are tidy and well equipped and gave us many hours of enjoyable downtime. The rooms are tidy and well furnished for self catering needs, If i was to pick a hole in anything it would be the very slow WiFi internet access (busy periods was near impossible to get access). All in all a fantastic stay and we will certainly look to use again on future trips.

We brought a little of our own food and snacks which was convenient since dining times are limited and there wait times are long. The room itself was ok but the atmosphere and proximity to the entrance of Yosemite makes up for what the hotel lacks.

Great property near Yosemite and awesome river view option… Love that is pet friendly. There’s two options for food a restaurant and a pizza place they both have different business hours but the check in people make sure to explain all that in check in. Check out time is at 11 am which is great for when you’re tired. Been staring here for the past 5 yrs and I’ll forever keep staying here.

Restaurant was overpriced for the quality. Nice that you could have unlimited coffee after paying for the cup. The hot tub temperature could have been a little warmer. Beds weren’t that comfortable. Overall a nice place to stay that was close to Yosemite.
