Bad smell

Our room Smelled like sewer and mold despite a couple of a couple of staff coming in and spraying room freshener . We had to tolerate the smell all night . Got up and left . Didn’t get to enjoy the room or have a desire to have the complimentary breakfast

Didn’t realize this was a dog friendly hotel and. That means people can leave there dogs unattended in the room for hours while they cry and nothing can be done about it. Guess that’s why they provide complimentary earplugs.

The pool is very dirty, there is algae or molds around the pool. The jacuzzi is very dirty and out of service but there is no sign that it is out of service or closed.

Best place to stay in the small town of delano. We visit frequently because my inlaws live in next town over where there is no hotels. Delano seems to be a boom town and the Hyatt is right there next to all the newer amenities the town has to offer. The property is always clean, rooms as clean as a hotel room can be and staff is always friendly. Kids enjoy the breakfast also.

I had issue in the room. I reported to receptionist and instead looking for solution, he was goving me excuses. The room that was reserve was not available and give me another room and they never said nothing about about it until I went to my room.. lotion was already expired. Smeall really bad. I report to receptionist, the excuse from receptionist was, they never use that product so they don’t know if product is good or bad. Light from batroom was getting a short circuit.. I reported to receptionist and they look for excuse instead of looking for solution or try to report to maintenance because is a mayor problem. Room got full of smell of burning plastic. (Short circuit). Not happy because when I reported, looks ans sounds like they don’t care.
