It was our first visit to Dubai so we were clueless. On checkin, the reception staff wasn’t too welcoming and wasn’t very interested in explaining about hotel facilities, dining options, shuttle facilities etc and seemed more eager in serving others. We felt overall, hotel staff seemed to have more consideration for local sheikhs and we felt less important . He handed us a leaflet about meal options. This didn’t give us too much confidence . We wasted a lot of time going around enquiring about the restaurants and gym/steam room etc and gave up on any intention of availing the free shuttle facility to explore the city and stayed indoors throughout

A very average stay. The shower is nearly unusable. The water temperature changes constantly. There was earwax (or something) on a pillow sheet, and hairs on and holes in the sheets. The window had zero sound isolation, so I heard all sounds from the restaurant area until very late. The breakfast service was slow and not extremely friendly. The massage was below average- she was more concerned with offering a “special massage” than with just doing a proper massage. The new Korean restaurant was average. How does a Korean restaurant not serve kimchi with the meal?? Not terrible, but like I said- a very average stay.
