We checked in on 1/22/25. The individual we "dealt" with, I believe it was Jeff, was a rather impolite person. He made us feel as if we were bothering him by checking in. He was a very poor image for the Hotel.

The property is in a great location for business or pleasure. Right off the freeway and near Coast Hwy 101. The staff are kind and helpful. The entrance at the bottom off the street is poor and could be upgraded with better directions on the asphalt. The breakfast could be upgraded with making available Black pepper, chili pepper flakes, ice and more types of salsa. The TV should have directions for how to change the channel and turn the volume down (in the breakfast room).

A great place to stay

This is a great, older, hotel to stay in when visiting this area. The rooms have always been clean and there is plenty of space in the rooms. Each time I have stayed there has been a room with a balcony to sit and enjoy the great weather. Pool is nice and their breakfast is above average, compared to most continental breakfasts. We stay here most times in the area.

The room was big and I did like the layout - King bed in a room all to itself. Sofa bed for boys was standard. Room was clean. A plus was that the floors were laminate because I hate carpet. Only two complaints - the toilet flushed lie a vortex, swear you could get sucked in and it was so loud, and unfortunately, quite the opposite with the shower. The force of the water coming out was almost non-existent. I mean if you like taking a shower that resembles light mist, then this is the shower for you. Also, the tub drained slowly, so you did have to stand in a puddle while you showered.

The staff wasn't as helpful as I'd like but the property was very nice. There is an attached restaraunt though it sits dormant, and appears to be dormant for years. View was very good. Didn't get to use the pool and hot-tub, however it was obvious from the steam the hot-tub was heated at night. Walking distance from the beach side shops and eateries on the main shopping drag. Great little town to visit.

Great spot for a night on the town in Encinitas. Close to Shelter and Roxy. Suites were spacious and were able to join our two suites. Loved it

We had a fantastic time in Encinita. Location is very convenient and very family friendly. Only a walking distance to a very good supermarket, playground, beach and restaurants. This hotel is quite dated so perhaps a lower pricing would be more appropriate, but everything worked, so I would recommend.

The BUSINESS!!

The stay was wonderful. Our last day we woke up really late . So of course we called the front desk to let them know..and i thought from prior experiences with other hotels and suites that they wanted to hurry us out so that the employees could clean the room..so i was pleasantly surprised that instead of giving us a 30 min maybe an hour late checkout.no...they gave us a 1pm checkout which blew my mind. Offered it.. i was in shock cause no other establishment would ever do that..thanks guy's !!
