I loved our room more and more as we stayed for a while. Every morning Iooked down on a little village and watched the fishing boats go out to sea. There are several really nice places to eat very close bye.

We LOVE staying here! The hotel has beautiful views of the harbor, the rooms are spacious, the location is convenient and the staff are great. We are looking forward to being back next year!

The view from our room and balcony was terrific! Unfortunately (and there's nothing the facility can do about it), the road noise from the bridge and the periodic hooting of a foghorn are very prominent when the sliding window is open. The window provides good sound-proofing, but since there's no actual air-conditioning, the room can get pretty warm with the window closed, even in Fort Bragg's cool climate! The mattresses definitely need an upgrade! On the whole, though, an enjoyable stay. Noyo Harbor is a 10 minute walk away if you don't mind going down the steep and uneven stairs on the public path, and of course, you can drive there in five minutes. The location is convenient for trips to Ft. Bragg, the Botanical Gardens, Mendocino, and the various state parks. Good mattresses and functioning air conditioning would make it perfect!

I’ve stated this Hotel multiple times when passing through with work. The entire staff is amazing, Tim always takes care of me. I’ve never been disappointed with the service from the staff and especially Tim. I can’t say enough about the hotel, beautiful views, comfortable beds, very clean with great restaurants on the water nearby. This is definitely one of my go to hotels, and I will continue to stay here on my travels and hopefully for a family fun trip in the future.

Love That Harbor

Harbor Lite Lodge has an amazing location overlooking the harbor. Staff continues to be accommodating and friendly, although there seemed to be no concern about putting guests at ease with regards to the "tsunami" threat--yes, it turned out to be nothing but even a cursory note stating that if there were imminent danger, management would at least provide information to guests. The accommodations are reliable. I'm sure that if we had needed anything there would have been help, but other than checking in there was absolutely no contact with us, it feels like the personal touches are disappearing perhaps due to the high cost of everything.

Short Summer Getaway

The only negative comment for this wonderful hotel is that it probably needs to invest in some new bed mattresses. We love this hotel and will always make it our place to stay when we are visiting the Mendocino Coast.

By far the best accommodations so far on our trip through Northern California. I made a mistake on my reservation and the staff fixed it for me. They were so nice and kind while it was me that caused them extra work. The property was beautiful the flower garden court yard and views of harbor were appreciated. If you find yourself in this area this is the only place to stay.
