The staff, starting from front desk to the pool are need some customer service training. Don't know how to approach guests with certain issues that were caused by their staff instead decide to show attitude and pretend that it's the guest's fault. I like the pool area so hopefully next time I visit the staff here will treat my group better.

Went for meet up with family to celebrate a birthday. All the food we had was excellent and staff was great. Only issues too many folks at the lazy river and not enough lounge chairs to accommodate everyone especially when they are not given a time limit at the pool. Also, no microwaves or coffee pots in rooms. We traveled 4 hours to be there and ate all the restaurants but could not enjoy our leftovers so those jade to be tossed. Had to get coffee instead of enjoying a nice cup in our room.

The pool was great, and the dining was excellent. But the room was bare-bones; you will NOT feel like you are staying in a $300+ room. For example, the towels are threadbare with strings hanging off the sides, you would get better towels at a Motel 6. The pool closes at 8. Once you have eaten, if you aren’t a gambler there is zero else to do. Not even a nightclub with someone twanging a guitar. We came for the Foxworthy show; we stuck it out but I won’t be back. The entertainment value and lack of amenities is a deal- killer.

The Harrah’s Casino Resort was a great family-friendly weekend getaway destination that fulfilled my multigenerational family needs. My children enjoyed the lazy river and my parents enjoyed the casino. We had a birthday celebration at the Mexican Restaurant on site—highly recommend the enchiladas suizas. The friendly waiters made my father’s birthday celebration memorable. One recommendation for improvement is to have more swim options for families. The resort has 2 adult pools while families only have a sectioned off lazy river hidden at the far end of the resort. A nice splash pad or other pool area would have been great addition since the lazy river often got very crowded due to many people in all at once while the adult 21+ pools were mostly empty. Another note would be better pool side food. We ordered chicken strips and they were hard as a rock, ended up tossing them out. Overall, a pleasant place to stay and very convenient and easy to navigate around.

I was not impressed by my stay at Harrah's by any means. This quality of service and accommodations was poor to say the least, especially for the price. I was attending a concert at Harrah's for my birthday. I only live 45 minutes from the resort but I thought since we are already driving out and it's a Friday we could enjoy a nice meal and pool time before and after the show. I regret my decision to stay. We realized after several scenarios with the staff that Harrah's was not interested in accommodating us or making our experience fun or enjoyable. Road block after road block left me with a subpar experience and I will not be returning. I am happy to share more details.

We had a patio room beside the pool area. There is loud than there is … obnoxious loud. The DJ at this hotel obviously plays music for a certain age group and obviously we weren’t that lucky. We go to OMNI at Rancho Mirage quite often. That DJ plays for every genre through out the day. We won’t be back…

Overall ok

Overall ok. Everyone we encountered was pleasant/helpful, the rooms were clean, comfy beds and they were quick to bring extra towels or bedding to the room when requested. But I wish there was more food choices, restaurants and shops or other things to do onsite or closer. We came with family so was disappointing to see there wasn't much more for kids/teens to do. The lazy river is great for a few hours a day when staying for a couple of days but there needs to be other attractions for a longer stay. We stayed for a few days longer so we had to look elsewhere for things to fill the days. A larger pool on the family side would have been nice too. Driving into town takes time, roughly 1.5 - 2 hours roundtrip however on a positive note the drive is beautiful in the day, not ideal for night. Also a restaurant we planned to eat at was closed for days at a time. I would recommend this place for short stays only considering the limited options if coming with family. Couples or adults can gamble the night away, or hang out on the adults side of the pool area which has at least 3 pools to choose from (only available to adults), a bar and a fire.
