The hotel is in a good location a few blocks from the beach. Breakfast was ample and the breakfast staff were attentive to our needs despite the busy Thanksgiving bustle. Rooms and bath are clean though could use an update. The best option in the area, a corner away from the local police station. 2 minute drive from all the nice shops and eating places. My only real complaint are the carpets, specially the ones located at the stairwell, smelled like metal and pee. Coming from a hospitality industry your front desk could use some update on their training on customer service. (Just saying) a smile goes a long way.

Worst internet service. I chose this hotel because it advertised a fast internet service. But they are using a broken provider that doesn't allow a secure VPN connections. I require a VPN connection to my work. They offer 2 levels of internet, standard (for free) and enhanced for $4.95. I chose enhanced, but it didn't allow my VPN connection to work. I tested the VPN connection to my home, and it didn't work either. The 3 different hotels that I stayed at, on the last 3 evenings, all worked fine for my VPN connections. I will not be staying in Marriot Hotels again.

We had room 201 , bad location since it’s next to the exit stairwell , there is way to much late traffic going up and down!!! Plus dogs next to us barked all night long!!

What stood out is how nice they were to let me check in early. I wasnt feeling good and needed to rest and they let me check in early. I was feeling so bad that I forgot my email and they still let me check in regardless. The empathy was greatly appreciated. I will definitely recommend them and stay there every time I go that area. :)
