Cozy and comfortable wooded cabin

This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

The cabin was nice and cozy. They had a perfect spot to make a sled track for the kids. A nice fire pit to make s’mores at the end of the day in the snow really hit the spot. The hosts were really nice and helpful.

This is my second stay at the cozy cabin and each time has been memorable on its own. We had so much snow it was truly a winter wonderland this visit. Aside from Mother Nature blessing us with incredible weather this cabin really does have all you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to make home cooked meals every night. There are plenty of pillow, blankets and towels for our family of 4 to survive the weekend. There is also a washer and dryer in the home which the kids loved getting into warm clothes in those cold mornings. The view from the porch is breathtaking and this cabin is really well taken care of. Scott and Dena are so hospitable and even offered to help take our bags inside. 10/10 would recommend and the kids are already looking forward to our next trip.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. This was our second stay here, and definitely not our last. The cabin was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. This cabin was more than just a place to stay, it felt like a little portal tucked into the woods, holding space for stillness, warmth, and presence. My friends and I spent the weekend here for my bfs birthday, and it was exactly what we needed. Love this place!

The Cozy Cabin was exactly that. Beautiful surroundings and easy to locate. My family and I had plans to ski at Soda Springs for the weekend, which was a short 30 minutes to the hill, which worked out perfectly. Out of the hustle and bustle of traffic and a quiet retreat. This cabin was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean, very well stocked in the kitchen, and had all the streaming services on the TV the kids could ask for! The view in the morning looking out into the forest was stunning. The cats that greeted us upon arrival made us feel like we were at home. Cozy Perfect Ski Weekend

Wonderful spot - worked perfectly for a family ski trip, a quick 30 minute drive up to Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our hosts were kind and accommodating and we loved staying in the quiet forest at the end of the road. We'll be back!

Sweet little place

Needed a little getaway. The family and I were able to spend three nights at the cabin to relax and unwind. Enjoyed the surroundings, friendly cat, dog and sweet property owners. We enjoyed walking around and playing outside. We will be back to have some tranquility again.
