A Clean, Comfortable, and Quiet Stay

A clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel room for the right price... but a bit tired. A few upgrades would greatly enhance the Sure Stay experience. The carpeting needs a deep cleaning or replacement. The TV service is The Dish, which has a very limited selection of channels and regularly loses its signal. The toilet paper holders are rusty. The staff is excellent. They are kind, courteous, and helpful. I appreciate the help I received when I had to checkout a day early due a change in my work schedule. I appreciate being able to park right adjacent to my room. The paper coffee cups in the room are very cute... black and white striped!

The room and parking were alright. The complimentary breakfast was a bit lackluster, but it's a small town so I didn't expect it to be overwhelmed with options. Coffee good.

I would chose another hotel/motel

The breakfast was poor quality and didnt have good options. The "OJ" was clear. Beds werent comfortable. In the shower there were two bottles of body wash (which was the same as the so called hand wash next to the sink) and no shampoo or conditioner. There were eyelashes stuck to the mirror which means it clearly wasnt cleaned (i took a picture but this review wont let me add it). The TV was very hard to manage, couldnt type in a channel, had to scroll one by one. There was another occupant who was screaming all night. The only positive thing i can say is that 2 out of the 3 staff i dealt with were extremely friendly, Chawntell (i am so sorry I'm sure i spelled that incorrectly) and Kevin. I dealt with Chawntell at night when i checked in. She had a smile on her face and was friendly and helpful. I dealt with Kevin at breakfast the following morning. He was also very friendly and wish he had been the one to check us out. He patiently answered our questions. I'm pretty sure all the poor things i mentioned are things beyond these two employees control, so i hope this review doesnt reflect badly on them
