Property shows some wear but that's okay. The first night I was at Building C next to a busy street. I asked for and they moved me to a room away from the street and it was much, much better. The staff was great. The Universal weight machine was unusable as there wasn't a pin to go into the weight stack. Beware the Coke machine by the pool. Prices are not posted. After you pay for the bottle with your credit card it shows the price (only after you paid, not knowing how much) being $3.00. But the text from Citi Card shows $7.50 whether I bought 3 bottles or 1 bottle. The front desk said "that's Coke" and that the $7.50 including a "security deposit like charge" that would be credited back. Well, I haven't seen any sort of credit back to my card as of yet. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay, the price thru Expedia was really, really good, the Continental Breakfast would have been better if they had scrambled eggs, and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Bottom line is I would definitely stay there again.

A Pleasant Place in Convenient Location

Laguna Hills Lodge is a pleasant looking and lovely landscaped property. The lobby is nice. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The rates are very reasonable. It is kept clean. But the halls are unappealing which doesn't make for a great first impression before entering one's room. Since it is clean and reasonable, we would stay again.

I loved the staff, they were so kind and polite and helpful. I didn’t like that our room was right across the road from a fire station and so we heard their sirens every time they left to go help someone. I would’ve have minded as much if they just let us know when we were given the room. The continental breakfast was just cereal and bagels plus some yogurts. Would be nice to have something for those who can’t have any gluten or dairy. The beds were clean and the pillows were not very nice, the bed itself was firm which is fine but I’m not used to that so it was a bit uncomfortable. There was a hair dryer, enough towels, and they would come to the clean the room if you requested it daily, but we always opt out of that service during our stays. The parking lot was clean and there was enough parking close to our room but we did have to walk around the building to it. I would still stay there again as there’s a lot of amenities like a salt water pool and gym.

We love this hotel! We’ve stayed there at least 4 times! The staff are amazing and the rooms are nice and quiet! The breakfast is great and convenient. We haven’t stayed there since the management change so hopefully it’s still close to the same!

Very impress of this nice place, excellent location, excellent price, very clean and excelent service. The only thing i sidnt like was the continental breakfast, no protein at all, only carbs. Everything else, i highly recommend it.
