The first thing you get his with is a ridiculous parking fee. Then I presented with list paper showing all the rules and what i might get charged with. I went into my room and first thing was a BUG in the sink, it was not a roach but unsure of the strange bug. My room had an old smelling sofa that sofa was out of 1980.I had opted for the breakfast and upon check-in received a sticker to present in the morning to get my meal. The process is a joke. I highly reccomend not choosing this hotel! Not worth the money I paid.

We arrived at the check in time but the attendant said the room was not clean yet. We went out to our car and waited nearly an hour. When we went back to check in there was a very long line and only one attendant. This resulted in us not being able to get in to the room until nearly 2 hours after check in time which was already 4pm. Later when we asked for an additional pillow and extra sheet, the front desk clerk said he would check if he could get them. We didn’t hear back from him the rest of the night.

My stay was very nice in Irvine, Cal . Everyone was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable at the Marriot Suites . My stay at Sonesta took a while to get the room prepared for check in but they were friendly and let me wait in longe with my luggage while they prepared room.

I have always enjoyed staying here, this last stay was not good. Reported shower not working correctly, Tuesday morning and night. Wednesday morning and night, Thursday morning while checking out and nothing was done or fixed. I also asked front desk Tuesday morning to have housekeeping change the bed sheets and spoke to one of the housekeepers about the same and it didn't get done Tuesday. I asked front desk again on Wednesday morning and it didn't get done until Wednesday evening after 645pm. Hopefully things get better and again I do enjoy staying here. We will try it again soon
