What a cute place. Staff was incredible. Room was clean. Large space with balcony and kitchen. My only minor complaint was that there was no full length mirror in my room. Only mirror was the bathroom mirror. But other than that, highly recommend!!

The property was so cute and the staff was warm and inviting. There was a roaring fire and a hot cocoa bar in the lobby. We enjoyed a wonderful wine flight at the wine bar. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location was perfect for us - close to restaurants and the gondola.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Everything went as smoothly as possible, and we really enjoyed our room! The fireplace was amazing to have. The lady who checked us in was so sweet. They had great recommendations printed out for food and activities and cookies as a gift at check in. Several places to eat were walkable and delicious. We even were able to walk to heavenly village- about a 30 min walk. We were mainly in town to ski so being right down the road was so convenient and there’s a pickup spot for the shuttle right out front. This is our 3rd time in Tahoe, first time staying here and we will definitely be rebooking when we come back again. Get the room with the microwave/mini fridge/sink- it’s like a little kitchenette and has dishes, silverware, a kettle with teas, etc. just wonderful little details for guests. It was also super clean and we were able to request linens each day by leaving a card on our door if needed. OH- and one of my favorite things was there was a box fan in the closet in the room. Such a simple thing but I NEED the noise when I sleep so having this instead of using my sound machine was awesome! Thank you!

The staff at the Black Bear Lodge was extremely friendly. When we arrived, they upgraded us to the Aspen Lodge, and it was beautiful and large and had great views of the trees and country. There was a hot tub outside for after we snowboarding, which was wonderful. Everything was great including the wine bar and amenities. 10/10 would recommend.

The location is very good, close to a supermarket and many restaurants. The room we were given in the main building was very noisy. The noise from the kitchen extractor fan downstairs and from the laundry room was a problem.
