Centrally located in Lee Vining. Walkable dining and market. With convenient access to Tioga pass and the Yosemite high country. And the beauty of Mono lake and Eastern Sierra.
We were allowed to change our reservation the night before we were to check in! The view outside of our room towards Nevada was delightful with a balcony. Very clean. Pleasantly surprised, great staff. Love the place.
Staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. I thought I reserved a room with fridge/microwave. Our initial room (11) we were gives had a fantastic view and was further away from the road, but no fridge/microwave. We were able to be moved to an upgraded room at no additional cost (weekday). Good location overall. Nice shops and restaurants nearby had what we needed. Overall good experience for our group of 4.

Disliked: Staff & service
Nothing special
Average order motel, very spotty TV reception, below Average front desk. Great location for restaurants in the town. I will stay across the street next time.
It’s a bit outdated property, but it was in a good shape, the cleaning staff is doing a great job to maintain the rooms. It was clean and cozy, perfect for our one night stay. It has a little patio looking to Lake Mono.
Property is clean but old. Parking is convenient. Beware of the "service charge" of $10. It's for nothing.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Not luxurious, but unusual
This is a slightly tired 1950's style roadside small motel (RIGHT on the road so very noisy traffic all night). Mist rooms have a nice deck that runs along several rooms - however, our's which was rm #4 had trees that blocked out the view of the lake itself. The other rooms would have had an actual lake view. Overall - it was a nice stay in a clean but noisy and a bit quirky old motel.
The room was quiet with a nice view of mono lake. The main takeawya was the room had no air conditioning. The room never cooled down even with the fan and windows open. Fairly uncomfortable. In addiition they are in need of new mattresses.
Room was ok but you can hear neighbors and people walking around. Front desk staff wasn't very friendly. Property is old but kind of charming and conveniently located to Yosemite Park entrance
Cute place, nice location for a night passing thru on a road trip. Cute gift shops walkable. Ate dinner at The Basin Cafe and Breakfast at Nicely’s Restaurant. Loved both, great food!! and walkable. No amenities. Would give 5 stars but we had ants in our shower area. Nice updated bathroom counters/sink. Fridge and microwave. Would stay again for sure!
