Worst hotel ever. Cheap maintenance. I went with my family for a night and I got disgusted with in so many ways. First the clerk asked me to swupe credit card for depaoit, which I did twice and he said it was declined but my bank showed transaction went through 3 times. Inspite of me showing the transaction he asked me what is my CC limit, very odd. 2nd, elevator did not work so we had ro go up 3 floors with luggage. 3rd room key did not work, so I came down and the guy tried and he said thw key card machine is not woking. It was night 1am and was tierd figuring out their technical issues. Finally he said I will.open with master key so I can get in. 4th, found two cockroaches, at that point ignored and slept. 5th issue, next day morning, no hor water, called front desk and said he told maintwnance and asked me to wait 10 minutes. 6th issue, Breakfast is a joke. I just left the hotel and told the clerk But he didn't care much. Stay away from this hotel.

The elevator wasn’t working and I have difficulty using stairs. The person behind the desk is seldom there and there is no bell to get their attention. Also, why is the swimming pool boarded up?

Someone went into our room while we were out.. not sure if anything was missing but the feeling of safety was gone. I was paranoid all night and to make matters worst. The people next door was partying all night! we didn’t get any sleep all night until morning. Tired with a long drive home. I have to say.. it was a terrible experience.
When we got to our room. Door was crack open and “Do Not Disturb” sign landed in the inside of door way.

During my stay, some teenagers were up to about 1 am being teenagers, and later in the evening the internet was nearly unusable. However, the bed was really comfortable, the fridge worked well, the toilet had a powerful flush and breakfast was plentiful.

DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING OUT IN PERSON!!! The most senseless front desk person who extended my booking for random people (or himself) without confirming my details. The idiocy of the manager there has reached the moon. Dumb and blind, not sure how he scored that, but has not got the slightest effort to understand what has happened and avoid checking the CCTV, to verify our existence, because he wants to pocket some more money. Looks like a professional in this dirty game! I would kindly advise all and any travellers visiting Merced, book a better hotel for some more money to avoid getting overcharged later. You'll thank me later!

My stay was okay. The receptionist was out when I arrived and I had to wait 10 minutes for the person to return. The receptionist did give me the quietist room possible, but there was a lot of noise from the guests and the freeway.
