Location, Location,Location

We stayed in the older section (west side) which was okay. Plumbing needs some work and maybe some updates for the $600/night price. Skip the sit down restaurant, thank God the pizza restaurant is really good. The resort staff was great, quick to respond and friendly. This place is two miles from the Park entrance in the best area to stay when visiting Yosemite. Easy access to all areas of the Park.

The staff was super helpful and kind, going above and beyond to help with something we had forgotten. Room was comfortable and mostly clean (a few gnat-like flies, including smeared on the ceiling). Maybe installing a door sweep would have helped? Having the kitchenette was nice. Partially updated (entertainment and vanity, yes, shower/bathtub, no - the latter would drip for awhile until stopping on its own after use.) Despite being in the same building as the lobby on the first floor facing the parking lot, the room was surprisingly quiet re: both car and foot traffic. The attached store was well stocked. The fitness room's treadmill didn't fully function. Game room needs maintenance, but kids liked it fwiw. The pools, including the indoor one was good. Great location, obviously, making an early start into Yosemite before the lines begin an easy option. As far as food options (yes, operated by a third party company), the pizza was good and service friendly. We didn't even bother with the other one given the consistency of poor reviews, prices, and photos. Would stay again if we were to return to Yosemite!

My stay here exceeded all expectations! This was my first trip to Yosemite and this was the BEST location to stay in the area. 2 miles from the Arch Rock entrance-close to all popular sites in the valley. There were pools spread throughout the property and many small hot tubs also. The small store had so many cute things and tshirts as well as food items and drinks. The room was nice size, included a fridge that actually made our drinks cold,

Very convenient lodge just outside the park. Clean and comfortable. Nice restaurant to dine in. Greeted by nice friendly staff on arrival and our room was virtually above the check in desk and shop so was ideally situated for that and the restaurant. Considering where our room was we found it to be nice and quiet.Plenty of parking spaces even though it seemed quite busy. And Yosemite is superb.
