I stay here every time I visit Monterey area. Extremely quiet, staff are great, always a great experience. Breakfast could be better, but McDonald is 5 steps away.

Adequately Clean and Comfortable

Our stay at the Best Western was comfortable and adequate. We usually stay in slightly more upscale hotels so it was a bit less luxurious than some of our typical stays. However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. A couple of things we didn’t like very much were: 1) you have to turn on the noisy fan if you want to turn on the bathroom light 2) the sink area is right next to the sleeping area, with no door or divider in between. That makes it impossible for one guest to wash up if other guests are sleeping. Our window on the thirdf floor was right next to a bright and noisy In N Out Burger. But with the curtains and the window closed, it didn't bother us at all. It was nice to be able to open the window anyway, if we wanted to.
