My overnight stay was wonderful! The ocean is about two blocks away. The rooms are about the size of a small bedroom with an attached full bathroom. It worked for me :)

Golf and Friends

Great spot to stay near the beach and golf course. (Walkable to both). There is a fire pit with lots of seating to hang out after dinner with friends. Very quiet and clean rooms!

The room was small but nice and served its purpose. The bed was comfortable. It was nice that they had a badic breakfast available with just little items. Nice to be able to grab a lite breakfast and go.

The individual at check in was not that friendly (it was not busy when we arrived) and didn't go over some of the room nuances - heating, fireplace. The kitchen lights didn't work and all the bulbs needed replacement. Should have been done beforehand. The morning bagals were stale. Loved the quiet and ocean proximity. The grounds are small but well maintained.

Location was great - convenient to get to restaurants, beach walk, 17 Mile Drive. The rooms could be improved with adequate lighting and supplies. Main light had 2 of the 3 bulbs not working and another lamp had blindingly bright bulbs. First word issue, but annoying. We booked the room specifically because it had a kitchen and a small patio. The kitchen had 2 plates, 3 bowels, 1 water glass and no wine glasses. We ended up not using the patio - nowhere near as inviting as the photos and included an ashtray with butts in it. The staff was pleasant enough, but not terribly interested in making our visit comfortable.

This place is in a wonderful location that is in a short walk away from a beautiful coastline. The cabin style rooms are really great (we stayed in the garden suite) and it is a very peaceful and quiet area. The only reason I haven't given completely full marks is because we were waiting quite some time in the reception/office to check in and the bed in the suite we stayed in is super hard and uncomfortable! Perhaps there should be a disclaimer that if you don't like really firm beds then don't stay in this suite! (the pillows were no better either, but i find that most hotels/motels always have really bad pillows!)

We had ants i in the room, not a big deal but we were given a can of Raid. I requested getting bedding changed and was given sheets. Love staying here and hoping it's not going downhill.
