Suite was so great! So large with 2 bathrooms and 2 patios. Great view on the 17th hole. Staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Lobby & bar is beautiful. Pool and hot tub were great temps. Gym was large for a hotel and hand everything you’d need. The free s’mores box and fire pits were such a cute addition to the stay. Wasn’t prepared for the $20 parking fee, $35 resort fee and $5 taxes (all extras added PER DAY) which was an additional $120 for a 2 day stay.

Room was on the first floor, there were people looking inside and on both of the nights housekeeping knocked at 8 am and 9 am and woke us up even with the do not disturb. No parking in front of the room. We ordered breakfast room service on the first morning and the coffee came cold, only one set of utensils, and in paper cups and paper to go containers. Skip if you’re looking for a Hyatt Regency experience.

Here's a well-balanced four-star review for the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa in Monterey, CA: --- ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa in Monterey, California, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, and there was a generous supply of towels, which was appreciated. The stay was relaxing, and we felt well taken care of during our visit. However, I did notice that the room wasn’t dusted thoroughly, which was a minor issue. We also weren’t particularly fond of the room service because it was delivered in take-away bags, and it didn’t provide the same level of convenience or presentation we expected from a hotel of this caliber. One of the most memorable moments was being awakened in the middle of the night by loud arguing from neighbors around us. It was disruptive, but I want to acknowledge the staff, especially the manager Jade. She was incredibly accommodating, handled the situation with professionalism, and made sure we were comfortable. She sincerely apologized for the noise, even though it was outside her control, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Despite some minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and truly appreciated Jade's attentive service. We definitely plan to return and stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our experience memorable!

Clean, well appointed room, comfortable mattress and pillows, solid WiFi, and large TVs. Vanity space was lacking. Restaurant prices were high but service and food were good. Biggest complaint was the near-$200 in resort fees and parking. This has always been a reputable property in Monterey, but getting pricey.

We had dinner at their restaurant and it was amazing! The food the service and hospitality was above and beyond. Hyatt is usually a hotel of choice and as always they do deliver. The s’mores activity was so much fun!

the buildings are very musty. our first room was definitely cigarette smokey...fortunately they moved us. on friday night staffing was significantly low to accomodate effective service in bar. two nights there were loud parties in our building till midnight
