Counter service is poor. I called to change booking and was placed on hold for nearly 10 minutes (he said hold for 5 minutes) before hanging up and calling back. When I finally checked in the clerk at the counter was SLOW and eventually gave me my room key. When I checked out the next morning, again, REALLY SLOW. I got a no smoking room but it smelled somewhat smoking and the room seemed barren with the towels in the bathroom and I didn't see the wash cloth, until after my shower since it was on the outside sink. I've stayed at Motel 6 as a last resort and Motel 6 rooms appeared better and cleaner than what Quality Inn Salinas represented.

The man at the counter was very rude didn't even say hello when i checked in. My key didn't work and he acted like it was my fault for not doing it right but I've opened hotel doors many times and never had a problem. He was grumpy and should not be in customer service if he hates people. The carpet had stains everywhere, the fridge was disgusting, the bolt inside door was broken. Also there is way more rooms than parking so you will have a hard time finding a place to park if you get to your room late. I did not feel safe here and will never be back. I would advice to stay at the motel y next door. It looked clean and had plenty of parking and had a security outside.

Bed was comfortable. HOWEVER, bathroom sink was clogged, both hot and cold faucets ran HOT. No one on officr. Also had to get keys 3 tomes to get door open Befsidetabkes stickly..floir very dirty. Poor facilitu.

I havent stayed at a whole lot of hotels, but this one has to be the worst i have ever been to. This place is very unclean. Our room smelled bad, the bedsheets and towels were stained, the toilet paper dispenser had MOLD. On top of this, there were smudges on the walls in our room and blood in the elevator. The gentleman at the front was a little grumpy and slow. I do not recommend this hotel. The only plus was the breakfast included, though limited, and In n out was a minute walk away.

When I arrived at the property I was a bit too early for check in so I was asked to wait due to the room wasn’t ready yet which was no problem at all. I came back at 3 pm to check in got my key walked up to my room which was on the 3rd floor and once I walked in the room was dirty as hell there were cigarette buds behind the bed frame, walls were dirty, the orange couches in the room were filthy with stains and other body fluids I’m guessing as well. Not to mention the tv and phone didn’t work. The bathroom was molded in visible places like how could you miss that. The towels were stained but smelled clean. There was a hole in the ventilation to the restroom I’m not sure what happened there. I couldn’t even go anywhere else because everything was full in that area so I was out of luck. Please don’t let the pictures on the website fool you because I surely was.

Room was ok. A floor was dirty. No shampoo for shower. Towels thin and not folded well. Room appeared clean beside floor but not organized well. Things out of place. One outlet didn’t work to charge. No luggage rack. Bed and linens were nice though.

VERY interesting area ! Must read !!

First and Foremost, this “hotel” is right on the most popular street for prostitution just FYI… Secondly, the freeway is right in front so just be aware of noise levels lol. Will I ever stay there again ? Probably not.. The place definitely needs renovating. Broken furniture, lights out , loud exhaust fan , etc.. I will say that the bed was comfy . Overall , my stay was ok but like I said ..just keep in mind the 2 things I mentioned above that way you can make the call to stay or not.
