Great location but poor accomodations

There was a quarter inch or more gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. When we mentioned it to the front desk employee, they was no attempt at a resolution but ultimately offered me a towel to put in the gapped area. I wonder if this hotel has been taken over by new management as the rooms are decorated as depicted on Hotels.com. The property is rundown and has not been kept up well. (i.e. damage to the walls that have been poorly patched, nothing hanging on the walls, scant bedding, etc.) For $300 a night, I would expect more.

The property is a rustic cabin type area room is clean that is comfortable, but they do not have air conditioning and I’m very uncomfortable sleeping with the windows open. They do have a ceiling fan and it was not hot but it is July close to August and I’m sure they do get hot so air conditioning would be important

Great Hotel!

First time to Monterey and it was amazing! The Sea Breeze is a great hotel. My daughter and I stayes for 4 nights. The bed was a little on the hard side but all in all the room was really nice.
