Great people room was really small but cute we came for our 31 anniversary there was a bottle of wine crackers and cheese some fruit which I thought was very kind of them . It really made us happy I would book again

Couldn't have asked for more!

Our stay at the Sunset Inn was perfection! It started with a great deal we got here on hotels.com. We received a personal welcome text before we arrived in a warm welcome from Rishi. When we checked in he offered a sort of concierge service as he helpfully shared local recommendations for dining and things to do. Upon finding out we were celebrating our 1-year anniversary, he called for a bottle of wine, a fruit and cheese plate, and a beautiful bouquet of local flowers to be brought to our room. The room was nicely updated, and very clean. We found it very comfortable for our week's stay. Everyone, from the front office to the housekeeping staff were super friendly and always smiling. The Continental breakfast was what you would expect. It was simple but tasty. End was the Inn was in a perfect location, central to many things to do, but far enough out of the hustle and bustle. We will definitely stay here again!

Convenient and clean!

Great place to stay. We were just there for 1 night as we traveled up the coast. Everything was so clean and the host made sure to tell us that "this is your home" to make sure we had anything we might need. It was a short walk away from the ocean front which made for a great evening stroll. Loved it!

This was not quite what we expected BUT it is very good. Wonderful warm welcome, seamless check in and a lovely large room (not like some of the broom cupboards you can get). Everything in the room worked (👍), the shower was excellent and a lovely bed. Gas fire in the room to supplement the a/c and it was needed as the temp was only around 8C. No restaurant or bar but snacks, coffee, soft drinks all available at reception and recommendations given for multi national dinner options all within a 5 min drive.

What a wonderful and quirky place to stay. Lots of personality and kind staff made all the difference. We even received a special food treat from the staff when our room keys stopped working one day. We would definitely stay here again.

The Sunset Inn is close enough to the ocean, you can walk. The rooms are small little bungalows and it is very well lit up at night. The town of Pacific Grove is a 5 minute drive.

nice area by the coast

quick one night stay; lady at front desk was very helpful-let me know how to turn on heater and if it did not work told me to contact her right away so she could light the pilot; fireplace was a nice part of the room; very large room and bathroom was clean; it is an older property, but still very comfortable; would stay here again

It was great. Bed was a little firm for me and my neck but if you like a firm mattress it will be great. Super clean room and cool shower. Can walk everywhere.

Super cool spot! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They recommended places for dining, shopping, and local experiences for us to visit. We enjoyed them all! The room was immaculate, hot shower, great water pressure, comfy bed, etc. etc… Would stay here again and again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Inn. The owner and staff are super friendly and made our stay a very nice experience. Location is great- very close to the ocean and I enjoyed seeing the local deer every morning right across the street from the Inn.

Very friendly staff. Very cute little bungalows clean and quiet. Very good parking right near the front door. Beautiful location as we were driving to the establishment we saw about a dozen deer just grazing in a park nearby. Close to trails in the beach and some beautiful overlooks.
