Book Montrose-Ghent hotels

Save yourself the headache and NEVER stay at this hotel. Horrible staff, pool was closed before we even booked and they said nothing about it. It was the whole reason we picked a hotel with a pool. Refused to discount our room, when we reached out to the Manager she refused to answer her phone, gave a fake email. Hotel pool was closed, elevators don’t work ( they are aware), refrigerator had 3 inches of ice on the freezer, freezing all our drinks and making them explode. I cleaned the fridge and they still tried to charge me $100 for cleaning the room, even though I had reported it to them the day before. The water was so hot coming out of the faucets, I received 1st degree burns when I tried to wash my hands. The bathtub was straight boiling water coming out. Maintenance says they have to Kermit that hot to have hot water throughout the hotel. A child would’ve been badly burnt with 2nd or 3rd degree burns. The manager didn’t care. The staff didn’t care, extremely rude, told us to go elsewhere, when the whole town was sold out for events that were in town. Staircase smelled like cow manure in the middle of the city. I would swear they were housing 6 cows in that staircase part time. Please don’t go to this hotel and have them ruin your whole vacation!!

The only thing is that the breakfast is very simple.

The staff was super friendly, and the pool was great for the kids. The breakfast buffet was decent. Great value for what we paid.

The hotel itself is actually quite nice, and the room was clean. However, whenever the person next door flushed their toilet, I could hear the water rushing through mine. Also, the bed made a loud squeaky sound every time I moved, which was pretty annoying.
