Great location, nice beach area, clean pool and hot tub. Older range in Kitchenette, plenty of utensils, plates, etc. No oven glove, limited cooking pans. Could use some shelving paper and good deep cleaning to include the dusty ceiling fans. Overall a nice visit.

Excellent customer service. Great motel for a family vacation thanks to the amenities and walking distance to the main beach; also has a private beach. Good area to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The rooms are spacious. The rooms were not entirely clean and I noticed small bugs in the bathroom. The TVs required a login which was a hassle (personally would prefer AirPlay). Overall, I would recommend this location for family gatherings.

Economy with a view.

The location is fantastic! Close to everything, right on the lake, quiet in spite of being on the main road and the views are excellent. It's a great value. The rooms are clean but dated. The walkways are not maintained. I unclogged the shower myself and upon letting them know, was "thanked" it was not sincere. The property states that it's pet friendly but the pet fee is exorbitant at $45 a day. You are also prohibited from leaving your pets in the room (even crated). In the summer, that means missing out on most activities that bring you to Tahoe. It's a bit silly. People will smoke outside your room and the portable AC will pull that air in, so while the rooms are non smoking, expect weed or cigarette smoke at all hours. All in all, I would stay again for the price but not with dogs and only off season.

The Crown Motel has a nice location on the beach. The disappointment was the room. Needs a huge update, carpet was stained and the air conditioner was a stand alone unit with a big coil vented outside that kept falling down.

The staff was amazing! Every person on staff was accommodating and quickly responded to any request. Loved being able to text the front desk and receive updates on my reservation. Loved the water access. Loved the big picture windows and the view. Our first time in Lake Tahoe and wanted to be on the water and Crown fit the bill. Very homey and retro. Lots of places to hang out and the pool view was spectacular.

We loved this location and the private beach was so great especially with the Labor Day weekend crowds. The view is amazing. Just a great place to stay.

We had a nice stay here, the view from the room was excellent. The little beach, the big patio are excellent features. The walls doesn’t have great sound insulation, but we had quiet neighbors. Overall it’s a great accomodation I would stay here anytime in the future.
