We had no towels in the room at all , no laundry bags or extra trash bags. Took 30 minutes or more to get a crib. Needs to b updated. We had to pay to park which I never had to in a hotel ever! Staff was great!

The elevators were hardly working. Several days I had to use the stairs to get to my room on the eighth floor. I am also very unhappy with the hidden fees. I was charged a “destination fee” for every day I was there. No explanation, but an added expense. Parking was $27 a day, and I wasn’t aware that I had to pay for parking until AFTER I booked the room. Most hotels provide free parking for the stay, or work the parking fees into the room cost. It was deceptive because I thought I was getting a good deal. I would have looked for a different location if I had known about the hidden fees.

I found the room had a damp musty odor. I had to sleep with sheet over face to not smell it. Also we had no water to shower that evening or the next morning. Hot water did not work and the manager avoided anything about a refund.

Only two out of five elevators were working and we are on the sixth floor so that way you said about an hour of our time believe it or not. They weren’t keeping up on cleaning the hallways and main areas. And the parking fee was ridiculous. It was over $50 for one day in one hour. The only pluses it’s walkable to Universal Studios, but I think I’d rather pick a better property further away and just drove in as Universal Studios parking might be less expensive.

Hotel was under construction. It was dirty and smelled strange only 1 elevator in the entire hotel worked. Room had ants and was out dated and dingy.

First, we got hit with an $85 for the two nights. Then, $27 for each day parking. The price doesn't justify anymore. Need to pay attention to these before you book. Reception staff were great... very professional. But Cleaning cars hanging out by the elevators all the time, and staff chatting personal & loud on the phone throughout. Last but not least, we noticed the upgraded rooms - which were nice - but not a fully clean job - edges, behind furniture and bathrooms are professionally upgraded... openings on the walls, still concrete behind beds, we even killed a small roach the first day.
