We had a great time at this hotel. Very easy to walk to darling harbour and the shops. Took us around 20 mins to walk to circle quay. Hotel was very clean and staff helpful. Pool was lovely for a quick swim. Would recommend this hotel.

Streaming & Maintenance

When we arrive in our room we noticed that the TV was not working as a few channels were missing. We could also not do any streaming via Netflix or SBS on demand and the Concierge informed us that he will inform Maintenance about the matter. Come day 2, the matter sill had not been resolved and in the evening I had to go down to reception to find out when action could be taken by maintenance. A friendly guest relation officer (male) came up to our room in 10 minutes and was able to resolve the problems with the TV and we could get all channels and do our streaming.

Room lacked decor, and felt bland. We did like the size of the living/kitchen, but the bedroom barely fit the queen size bed. The shower did have a door and the water leaked in the bathroom. Didn't have any outlets in the bathroom.

Good room but AC didn’t work well

The biggest issue is that the air conditioner took a long time to cool down the room, so after a 14 hour flight it took a while to get to sleep because the room was hot. We called the front desk and they sent someone up, but there wasn’t a solution other than give it time to cool down. It was very nice to have the washer and dryer in the bathroom. Room was big with sitting area and small kitchen area. Good location for tourists, but not many food options in the evenings.

Rooms were spacious. Had washer and dryer, which was very helpful after a 2 week trip. Ana at the reception desk was very pleasant and helpful. The location is also great, being very close to the wharf if you do a bay excursion. The only thing that was missing was a recycling bin. We were very pleased overall and would definitely stay again if we travel to Sydney.
