The property was old, but relatively clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but I’m used to my own adjustable foam bed. We usually stay at a higher end hotel and the beds there were more comfortable. For the price it was in a great location and suited my needs for this trip.

Nice, clean, and close to beach. I booked this place because it had a fireplace but I was disappointed not so much because it wasn't a gas fireplace but you had to use a Duraflame log which only lasts an hour and a half and you have to purchase any additional logs for $5. Which I thought was ridiculous! But what really bothered me was that the chemical smell gets trapped in the room, so I couldn't tolerate another log even if I wanted to, even though I did purchase an additional log, for this reason I gave this place an"average" rating!

This is our favorite place to stay in Monterey. It’s clean. It has a hot tub and heated pool, balcony, large refrigerator, and table and chairs.

We were in Room 108 1) Ceiling fan needs to be balanced. It wobbles at high speed. 2) Bathroom has water damage near tub area and . Water damage needs to repaired. 3) Shampoo & Shower Gel Dispensers had the Same product in dispensers! It didn't lather so I assume it was all shower gel. No shampoo, No Conditioner
