Nice little boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Great dining. Pool, hot tube, plenty of outdoor seating options. Small # of rooms means nothing is crowded.

Nice hotel in need of some renovations

Love the hotel and its location but it’s past due for some renovations in the rooms. At least, the carpet, toilets, and window shades. The staff was nice but when my daughter was carrying a suitcase and other items down the stairs (there is no elevator), the guy at the front desk told her she was strong but didn’t bother to help her.

Staff was good. Beautiful relaxing environment on the lake. We requested a lower floor which open towards the lake and was given the room requested. we traveled with a dog. The hot tub was very convenient right outside our door by the pool. We would stay here again for rest and relaxation. Breakfast was OK. Need to add some protein food or at least protein breakfast bars. Some of the coffee cups were dirty in the morning on our last day. We recommend that the staff clean up the dishes, left outside by others for two days, noticeable.

Beautiful views of the manmade lake are very nice for the desert. The staff is nice and welcoming, the restaurant was better than expected for dinner. Overall totally fine place to stay and enjoyable. Areas for improvement - gluten free options at the free continental breakfast like yogurts or oatmeal would be nice aside from muffins and bread and bagels. Rooms are decent but really show wear and tear (paint, carpets, need new pillows and more supportive mattresses, towels not absorbent).

Very nice hotel, beautiful views! Very convenient location. The only negatives were that the Wi-Fi would not connect to the internet, and the free continental breakfast consisted only of toast, fruit & coffee/tea. I was expecting more for what was paid for the stay & from a nice place that had a full kitchen on site.

Great stay at The Chateau

Our stay at the Chateau La Quinta was great! Unique boutique hotel with a great patio with fire pits overlooking the lake. We would highly recommend getting a premium room overlooking the lake. Great value for the off season price. Only thing that could be improved would be the level of attentiveness for the staff.

Very nice small hotel by the lake. I got a good size room with a lake view. I took one star off because the black chandelier in my room had dust over it and some of light bulbs were not working. Other than that overall very clean. The property does not have a lift and so make sure to request first floor room if you do not want to use stairs. This cute hotel has electric car charging station. Overall very nice experience!

I stumbled upon Château at La Quinta during an evacuation from Los Angeles due to the fires, and wow—what an incredible discovery! I wanted something near water, and this stunning property exceeded all expectations. The serene lakefront location, combined with the beauty and tranquility of the setting, turned a stressful time into such a happy and peaceful experience. I can’t wait to come back with my girlfriends for a weekend getaway—it’s the perfect spot for relaxation and connection. Château at La Quinta is a hidden gem, and I’m so grateful to have found it during such a challenging moment. Highly recommend!
