This place is very cute and the staff is very friendly and helped us navigate some night time star gazing and next day activities. The room was small and just about all 2 people need for a quick stop after a long hard day. The resturant onsite offered some nice dinner and breakfast options and a surprising amount of craft beer for purchase. Night time stargazing was exceptional.
Great wilderness experience with a clean tent and surroundings
Shower available but did not shower as we stayed for 1 night only
Restaurant across the road a plus
Would stay again and for longer

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
This is one of only a few properties near/in Death Valley. It was "rustic", which was expected. It is a campground with very basic motel rooms. No TV, not sure about AC. The restaurant had a nice selection of food and the service was excellent. It was also quite expensive, but considering where it is located, also to be expected.
I've stayed at this location before in one of the small cabins. This time, it was such a lovely time of year that I just used one of the tents. The tent was much better than I expected. There was a memory foam mattress on a low platform bed instead of the cot showing in the photo.
The place is quiet and the scenery is beautiful, but the rooms are badly in need of repair and maintenance. Windows didn't work, no mirror in the bathroom, the room was full of cobwebs, light bulbs were burned out, etc.... also an animal was living in the walls or eaves and made noise all night. You might as well stay in a tent!
No tv or fridge in premium cabins. Very small room, barely space for luggage. Floor was filthy…used a towel to wipe it down and it was black. Lots of flies in room(space under AC they were clearly getting in) and ants in the sink. WiFi only right in store/on porch of it. Convenient location for Death Valley and friendly staff but not quite as advertised. Very soft bed.
Stayed in a cabin which, although small, was perfectly adequate & comfortable. It was located near a small man-made stream with lush vegetation: a real birding hotspot. Nearby restaurant/bar was good and another plus, and the location was great for attractions in and near the west side of Death Valley.
Advertised with EV charge port, but have 1 broken charge port. Nearest EV charging station at least one hour driving from here. Wifi not working in room, you have to walk to restaurant nearby about 100 ft. When We check in, they told us hair dryer or electric kettle should not be used that they might blow the circuits because electricity are run by backup generator.
We had a glamping tent, which was great since we don't have camping gear. Blankets and bedding provided. Restaurant across the street was great as was the guy who checked us in. Tent was noisy due to the wind but other than that, we had a great stay.
An oasis of life in the middle of nowhere, at the entrance to Death Valley. I rented a nice cabin with two beds, full bathroom. The conditioner is provided but i prefer open windows to have fresh night air. I opened the window and enjoyed the night though there where no mosquito net. But i had no problem, pribably in the Death Valkey all mosquitos are dead.
