My wife and I enjoyed staying here with our children over the weekend, as a quick getaway. Everything was very clean, the room was well-stocked, and the walk to Calafia Beach was less than a half mile. We will definitely stay here again.

I loved being close to the ocean and walking wherever I decided to go. The restaurant is perfect to have there. My space was cute and comfortable. Staff was friendly overall. I tried to get in earlier than check-in time but didn’t happen. Before I came I attempted to reach someone at reception but wasn’t able to. It would be great if checkout time was later than 10 am.

Hidden Gem

San Clemente Inn did not disappoint. The exterior of this place reminds me of simpler days in this city, bringing back the warmth and nostalgia of the past. Once you open the doors to this property, you are transported into a beautiful resort world. The amount of amenities that you can do with your family or guests is more than what most Inn's I have been to have. From pool tables, air hockey and swimming pools to BBQ grills and "free" dvd rentals when you want to relax in the room. The rooms are fully equipped to cook for your long stays but quaint restaurants are approximately a mile away. The beach is within walking distance down the hill. The San Clemente Outlets are close by to shop. I discovered this place last week for a two day stay and loved it so much that I came back for 3 days this week. I will definitely keep this place in my "go to" list of places to stay and look forward to coming back!

San Clemente Inn provides a quiet getaway stay. It is very clean and a cool coastal vibe. You can see people cleaning the property to keep it presentable. Staff from front desk, maintenance, to wait staff are very friendly. Shout out to Arnold and John (maintenance) for their hard work. Shout out to Anthony (front desk) too

The rooms need a bit of updating. The AC units need to be upgraded to help get rid of the musty smell from the humidity. The rooms are spacious just dated.

Fun and convenient beach stay for families

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 6 night stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and the balcony had a lovely garden view. The beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill (no sidewalk, but the street is wide). We really enjoyed the amenities including the pool, hot tubs, mini golf, tennis, and basketball. The only downside is the weightroom has dated, poor functioning equiment and is poorly ventilated.
