Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
I was very disappointed in our stay this past weekend. I don’t know if they’re remodeling the property or not? I’m hoping that’s the reason, but there were some changes to our room from previous stays at this hotel. First of all, the flooring in our shower was either dirty and had mold or damaged? I wish I took a photo of it. I had to wear my slippers in trhe shower with how filthy it looked. Secondly, the shower door was stuck and hard to shut when I showered. The lights in the restroom is apparently sensored by movement and when it detects no movement, it turns off, which happened to me while I was showering in the evening, leaving me in the dark! The floor mat/towel was hung on the hand towel rack by the sink, which we origiy thought was the hand towel. The trash can was placed next to the clean towels under the sink instead of on the floor. I had replied to the text the hotel sent me when we arrived to let them know if we needed anything. I told them our issues and received no response from the front desk. Also, we had requested clean towels for the next day because we did not want housekeeping to come into our room to clean. However, when my husband asked for clean towels, the employee at the front desk advised us that they do not give guests clean towels, if requested, unless we have housekeeping come and clean. We loved this locatiom and cleanliness in the past, but left disappointed this time.
