This is an older hotel from the 60s with much of the original furnishings. So, it’s not 4-star in that sense. But, it’s clean, well-maintained, and the staff is wonderful. Centrally located between Chinatown and the Italian section. An excellent value, especially as they include parking.

Location is perfect - Balcony is the highlight! Several to-go food places all around. North Beach and Chinatown are at your doorstep. We had delicious wonton soup for breakfast every morning on our balcony! Fridge, in-room coffee and remodeled interior - appreciated. Everything worked. Bed could use a mattress topper but the extra pillows were nice. Has free parking which is rare and nice if you have a car. We didn't but great option if you do! Pleasant and accommodating staff - would definitely stay again.

This place is clean, secure and an excellent value. Other hotels charge for parking, but these guys don't which is a huge economic value. Rooms are clean, up to date. Water is hot, doors lock and the bed is comfy. Would definitely return if I'm in the area.
