Stayed 3 nights in June 2025. Older hotel (maybe 70’s, early 80’s). Bus stop two doors down (connects to BART train stations and hence to airport) and can walk to pier 9 (straight down the street) in about 15 mins. Walgreens (pharmacy + has food, etc) 2 mins walk from motel. Loads of food options nearby including Chinese (unsurprising as it’s located in Chinatown!), burgers, Vietnamese, and Italian.
Can be a bit noisy at times (loud motorbikes/cars, etc) as on a busy-ish road. Seemed pretty safe at night as quite a few people around.
Coffee maker and fridge only appliances in the room we had. Weirdly, the bath towels were really small! Didn’t have much interaction with the staff but when we did they were friendly, efficient and helpful.
The price, being a bit lower than your average San Francisco room per night, reflects the age of the motel. Other than the above, nothing ‘bad’ noted. End of the day, you’re only there to sleep, not to hang out in the room so no complaints.
