All-in-All a great stay

Everything was amazing, except our upstairs neighbors (above the 2-bedroom suite) were extremely noisy throughout the night, and the windows of the 2-bedroom suite let in all the outside noise of vehicle engines.

I booked a room for 8/5/2025. Check in was 3pm I arrived at 9:45 pm because of a tire blow out! Once I get checked in I am told by the front desk lady that I have a $15 credit to be used before 10pm at there snack shop. Me and my girlfriend walk over to the snack shop and we grab and ice cream and we are instantly met with attitude by the woman working the cashier named Loraine! She tells me we can’t get the ice cream because we are not checked in. I ask her to call the front desk because we just checked in as I show her my room key card. She tells me she is not going to call the front desk and that I “better” get out of her line and go figure it out. At this point I am lost for words and confused where all of her animosity is coming from. She starts to shake and get so angry and starts telling me “ you don’t know how it feels to work a job” and all of these other random things! Mind you I am here on vacation after working an 18 hour shift the night before! At this point I walk away from her and back to the front desk lady! The front desk lady apologized to me and said she did not click check in and that we should be good to get the ice cream now. So I walk back over to the snack shop I tell Loraine my room number and it still doesn’t work, which made her even more mad. At this point she grabs the cashier monitor and slams in down! Me and my girlfriend both are so confused as why she is so angry with us she then goes to tell me

Beautiful hotel and excellent breakfast!

Our family vacation to Monterey was made even better because of our decision to stay at the Embassy Suites. We had 3 rooms, and all were very clean and super comfortable. The snacks in the room were nice, as well as the evening appetizers and drinks. The breakfast was the best, though! Free made-to-order breakfast started off our days just right, and the service at breakfast was outstanding. We hope to be back!
