The room was _too_ clean. It reeked of whatever cleaning chemicals their cleaning staff used. 4 hours of open doors and windows and fans (in the fall in central california no less) barely made a dent in the overpowering barrage of cleaner.

We checked in around 9:30pm. The manager was grumpy, not very welcoming. It felt like we were an inconvenience. Parking was abundant. Our room (2 doubles) had a potent scent of air freshener. We ran the fan constantly to counter it. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were clean but very crunchy. It could use maintenance (toilet not fully attached to floor, closet door didn’t function, the curtains were off the rod, the “artwork” was hung behind the TV and the two pictures were exact copies, the mirror was hung behind the dresser). It could use a 21st century update or at least an eye for detail and some elbow grease. It was quiet-holiday weekend (no Cal Poly kids). Did not use/see the pool. Would t stay there again.

The Inn was a terrific location for a visit to Cal Poly. The hotel was quiet and clean and a good value. We would definitely stay here again.

The room smelt like piss first of all... horrible...second, the window in the bathroom was stuck open and broken. The floor was literally stained black. I was freezing in a smelly room all night. Never again. Was the worst place I've ever stayed at. Definitely a huge headache and disappointment.

Be aware that the front desk is only open until 11 PM. Our reservation was canceled while we were already on the way and couldn’t arrive before the cutoff, so I had to find another place to stay last-minute, which was very stressful. The receptionist was also quite rude when I called. Fortunately, we weren’t charged for the canceled stay.
