The weekly complimentary wine and music event was a highlight of my trip. This great and friendly musician has faithfully played there every Thursday for eight years, and was wonderful! The wine was so delicious, too. The oceanfront view rooms can’t be beat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Inn at the Cove from the day we checked in until the day we left. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, the view of the ocean from our room was amazing, and the free continental breakfast exceeded our expectations. Also, the pool is heated! I have to say we will definitely return here the next time we visit Pismo Beach, and I would recommend Inn at the Cove to anyone looking for a quality stay during their time at Pismo Beach.

POOR MANAGEMENT IN STAFF AND ROOM

First of all Bryce, the employee, gave us the wrong door and when we found it, it was the wrong key. Second, we had to go get the correct key for the given door and then we accidentally walked into an occupied room with people inside which was traumatizing for my family and the other family! Afterwards, we confronted Bryce about this and he DID NOT apologize as he gave us another room and smiled, laughing. Do not waste your money here because not only did we get disrespected by staff, but the rooms SUCKED. The beds are full-sized and uncomfortable, the AC was irregular and was only on one side, and there is no privacy between each room’s balconies. Overall, do not waste your money here due to poor management! The image below shows that Bryce initially gave us room 504 (the occupied room) and then gave us room 503 (the unoccupied room) after confronting him.

It was a very nice property. We had come up to the area early and checked in at 8:30. Our room still wasn’t ready till four . We were hoping we could get in a couple hours early at least or that they were try. It didn’t seem that busy there. Property was beautiful.

Out of service/room description

It was sad to see that the jacuzzi was out of service. The wife and I really wanted to soak in the jacuzzi after our long day of driving.😢 The person above us walked so hard we thought the ceiling was going to come down on us. The pool/ocean view was more of a pool view and not much of an ocean view. Lots of stair getting to your room, if you have a lower level room, not fun using.
