We had a pleasant stay while in San Luis Obispo. Clean rooms, nice location, the employees were friendly. I thought it would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room like most hotels and motels, but other than that we were quite satisfied and would stay there again.

Newer Motel 6 with a nice grassy area and pool in a quiet corner off the freeway. It's not in the downtown area - so nice if you want to avoid to avoid the crowds there (as we did for graduation weekend). The beds are a little hard and if you want to be warmer - ask for an extra blanket. No closet or dresser but a handy hanging wall thingy for clothes and shelf below for shoes or other stuff. It wasn't a super fancy location but clean and convenient for the pricey graduation weekend in SLO (they do increase their prices like everyone else that weekend so it wasn't a great deal, but it was less than other hotels in town!).

I have stayed at every Motel 6 in SLO county and this one is the best. Housekeeping staff does an excellent job, the rooms are very clean from the floors to the walls. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. A manager (I assume) lives on site & is great at making sure the place is safe. No issues with neighboring rooms. The only "downside" I can think of is that since they have parking for long haul truckers, it can be a bit noisy from some trucks constantly being kept running (truckers staying in their cabins?) at the back of the hotel but its not really that much of an inconvenience. I got used to it. Definitely recommend this location.

Went to the classic car show in Pismo and needed a room for one night. It wasn't bad, quiet and safe, the room was small and needed a little updating but it worked. The price was right, close to the freeway, it all worked out nicely.

The room was clean and fairly quiet. The property was close to route 101 and easy to access. The ac/heater was very noisy. There was no spare blanket, no hair dryer, no toiletries except for soap.
