This was our second time staying here. We had such a good experience last time we came back. However, it was not as impressive as the first time. The rooms are very nice, clean...the grounds and restaurant are nice, clean. It is super convenient, very close to downtown and there are good places to eat within walking distance. However, those working the front desk left much to be desired. When we go there to check in the woman seemed almost irritated that she had to deal with us. We asked about the shuttle (that we had used before) and again she acted like we were a bother to her. Our friends, who checked in about 30 minutes later also said they stood at the front desk almost 5 minutes before the woman even acknowledged them and she seemed irritated with them too.
The next day we asked to use the shuttle to go to a winery, a different guy at the desk asked for our name and said the shuttle runs every half hour, so be in front in about 20 minutes. We went to the front and a shuttle guy drove up, parked, walked past us and we never saw him again. We waited for a good 10 minutes, then asked the front desk guy about the shuttle. He acted like he didn't know what we were talking about, asked our name (that he had written down 20 minutes earlier) and then said to wait outside. We continued to wait for another 10 minutes or so then the regular shuttle guy came out and took us to the winery. We called for a shuttle to take us back and nobody answered the phone. Lots of incompetence.
