Reasonably Price Gem in SLO

The hotel was really clean and easy to reach off the freeway. The remodel really refreshed the room. Parking was really easy and accessible. Only issue was the bed springs. Each time I got up or lie down, the springs made noises. The remodeled bathroom was really good with a good size bathtub and nice fixtures.

It was clean considering they were Somewhat still under remodel Maids didn’t clean room as often as expected, even when I hung the service sign on door but I found out since we were extended stay we needed to request that Our room was spacious and equipped with a kitchen but I had to ask front desk for plates, pots, pans and utensils (hopefully they start to leave those in the rooms) Also the coffee pot was tiny Needs a regular size carafe There Complimentary breakfast could have been better … the location was good but quit noisy for sure

I recommend!

We had a little issue at check-in that forced us to stay at a nearby hotel for the first night, but management at Sands Inn & Suites was very nice and worked with us to solve the issue promptly. The rest of our stay was flawless, and I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms aren't as updated as some of the other hotels in the area but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a very hospitable staff.

Not worth the price!

The staff at check was very short with me and didn't seem to want to hear or answer much of a question I had. She didn't feel welcoming nor provided any info about the amenities of the hotel. The rooms are old and not like the pictures online. I could hear the people on the room next door talking and watching TV. The sink water was not going down in our room. No towels at the pool. The breakfast was not very "continental". The price for one night seemed high for a stay at this hotel.
