Cleanest inn I’ve ever stayed at. Really nice people running the place. Amazing location less than a 5 minute walk to the bay. If I’m ever back in Morro bay this is where I’m staying. Perfect.

The inn-keepers were very friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our reservation (not their fault!) and they went above and beyond to straighten it out. Room was spotless with complete set of amenities. We'd definitely stay there again!!

Great location! Close to local shops and the Embarcadero. We usually leave our car parked and walk because everything is so close. Hotel is nice and clean and hotel staff is warm and welcoming.

This charming property is family owned, quaint, clean. The owners take great care of this hotel and it's guests. Sundown Inn's location is convenient to many restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also close to the bay, ocean, and local beaches. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Morro Bay.

Cutest little motel. Dated but in a cute way. SUPER clean (coming from someone who gets grossed out easily at hotels). The linens smelled fresh and there was no dust. We are sensitive to pet dander and dust so I always worry but we had zero issues. The bed had an old-fashioned “magic fingers” vibration mechanism that our 7yo got a kick out of. The place was quiet and charming and super close to everything. We didn’t use our car once to walk around downtown. We will definitely stay here again.
