We stayed at the Oaks for our son’s graduation from Cal Poly and it was Father’s Day weekend. With that said it was reasonably priced, they’re dog friendly, customer service was very friendly, accommodating and very helpful. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and freshly baked cookies in the evening. We definitely recommend staying at The Oaks Hotel.

this hotel is rundown and poorly run. To list just a few issues we had: clock on nightstand had bright light along base that couldn’t be turned off. when i called the front desk they man on duty asked if i tried unplugging it—i said well then i couldn’t tell time--ended up putting two towels on top and still light. blackout drape wouldn’t close properly--so street lights came into room all night at top no water glasses anywhere: in bath or in room; no coffee cups. Only 1 k-cup ice maker on 1st floor didn’t work—no indication that the one on second floor did work. thankfully it did. limited seating at pool: maybe 8 chaise lounges beverage machine broken in restaurant and on floor by ice machine no tv guide in room—had to call to get. channel info using remote was impossible to figure out No towels left after cleaning on our first day. Had to call to get. positive: front desk gal that checked us in was very helpful breakfast was good.
couldn't close at top. there were also little pinholes in the blackout.

We’ve stayed here a few times and keep coming back. The location is great, staff is always nice and helpful, the rooms are big and comfortable, and the free breakfast is excellent.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Our only complaint would be the spa was dirty/ not maintained and pool area is small with only a few chairs. It is in a great location, close to highways, fast food and only 5 minutes to down town Paso Robles.
