Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Smells like smoke upon entry. The room was extremely dirty, so was the bathroom. I had to clean it myself. The bathtub had hair in it and the sponge was black after cleaning. Prior to booking my reservation I contacted the front desk Hotel staff to ask about storage for my items and early check-in. Upon arrival, I was not granted early check-in. I was first instructed to leave my stuff in the Hotel lobby unsecured and unsupervised. After asking to speak with a manager, they allowed me to put my items in what looks like an old restaurant that is no longer open by the lobby. I had to put my refrigerated food items in a freezer not a refrigerator. In which it all froze. Upon check-in on Saturday, I asked to speak with the Hotel manager about these concerns given, I ask these questions prior to booking. I was informed that there’s no manager on duty on the weekends and the manager would reach out to me on Monday. My intentions were to also speak with the manager about my disability and health condition. In the event, The ambulance needs to be called due to being on chemo, I needed to make sure that my insulin would be stored safely that is kept in my room. The second day of staying in the hotel my insulin froze in the refrigerator. It is now spoiled and not viable. That’s $5,000 worth of insulin down the drain. Every front desk person I’ve spoken to has not escalated my concern. They only put a note on my account. I’m very disappointed in this experience.
