It’s a morel 6, expect a basic room. It was clean, should be a 60-80 a night room. Unfortunately because of the location they can charge 159-190 and there’s not much choice. Definitely over charged for the caliber of room.

This is an affordable location if you want to be able to walk and enjoy Carpinteria. I felt self walking at night from town back to the hotel. I would say the hotel is nothing special but I found my room spacious and clean. It was nice that there was plenty of parking.

Even though we were told there was coffee in the morning in the lobby there was none. Instead we were given two cups of hot water and a "stick" of instant coffee. There were only 4 hangers in the room so we asked for more but had to bring them back. Also no iron. The water in the shower did not fully change to the shower head. The towels were so thin you could hardly dry yourself. The soap was small and did not produce suds. We will never stay there again. It cost us over $400 for 2 nights for "nothing!,"

I chose this motel 6 based on the reviews and also the price at $284 per night for two double beds. Now I wish I paid $400 for the local best western or Holiday Inn. The room was tiny like a medium sized bedroom. You could only access the beds from the center aisle between the two beds. The door to the bathroom area was no more than two cabinet style hinged knob doors. The towels were thin small and scratchy. There was no coffee maker nor hairdryer no ironing board. The shampoo conditioner is housed in two small ketchup style condiment packets. When I called the front desk for more towels, nobody EVER answered the phone all evening. We had to go to front desk to ask. She stared at me when I asked for them. Wry unfriendly lady.

Floor was dirty,no coffe in the reception at 0950, staff unfriendly, our room was not cleaned for the second day, although they promised to clean it. Garbage in the room was not cleared, no clean towels. I asked why they didn’t clean it, the answer was that the housekeeping had to many rooms to clean.
