Property in good shape since last stay 5 yrs ago. Carp still Quaint n Quiet, restaurants have developed nicely, Great area close to Santa Barbara to stay on a visit. Hotel staff excellent!!!

Very Basic, but expensive

Booked a queen room and was given a double. Came in late and parking was difficult to find. The room was small and the bed was not very comfortable. The front office was extremely friendly and very helpful upon check-in. As we arrived there were multiple people just standing in the parking lot - one in particular was parked in front of our room, sitting in his car, and was there for hours. This was a very expensive one-night stay for very basic services.

Great value but so noisy!

You could not find a better value staying in the Santa Barbara area. However if you wonder why it’s cheaper than others (including another motel 6 in the same city), it is because this is literally right next to a highway (without sound barrier) and the window/room offer little sound protection. It was impossible to get a good nights sleep when you can literally hear every car pass by on the highway. I was even wearing ear plugs at 33 db rating and was still awoken constantly. I would not recommend unless you can sleep through it. Otherwise it was clean and budget friendly for a beach town resort.

The place is so noisy. The employee told us that she would give us a quieter room. It turned out the room faced the 101 highway. Even though we used earplugs, they could not block the noise, we could not sleep the whole night.

Yea...we get it...it's a motel 6...but still...so dirty. Not a good night's sleep. At all. Super super noisy. But that big black spider on our wall was kinda cool. Christine in the front office was cool too. But the place is filthy.

Did not expect much - wanted clean/comfortable. Ad u can see from photo, floor was filthy. Comfort diminished by fan from HEAT/AC unit next to bed. Front desk staff kess than hospitable.

Eh. You get what you pay for. We needed a room for one night on a stop on a roadtrip and it did the job. The pictures make it look a lot cleaner/fresher than it really is. The shower was dirty. But all in all it was ok. Wouldn’t stay here again though.

The shower left a puddle, I mean not my biggest issue more like an inconvenience… had to leave a great review because everything else was just spot on! Would stay the night again!
