The area was ok. The room was ok for the price. The fake wood floor needed replaced and the baseboards needed a good scrubbing. Shower head was horrible. No direct pressure. Limited coffee at the lobby and vending machines. Ok place if you aren't hanging out at your room.

Checked in and the hotel looked nothing like the photos. The guy working at the desk was nice and accommodating. When we got to the room the first thing I notice was how SMALL the room was and it smelled like cigarettes. Then I noticed the leak, a giant puddle coming from the refrigerator. Tried to use the restroom before notifying the front desk and the door to the bathroom would not close because one of the tiny beds was blocking the door. Now that know that this is a motel 6 and all… but the rate was still close to $300. This room cannot comfortably accommodate 3 persons, maybe two at best. If this wasn’t a last minute booking to look at colleges with my daughter, I would definitely consider looking elsewhere without a doubt.

I was pleasantly surprised by the well taken care of Motel 6. I gave it a shot based on other reviews and it was just what we needed. It is by no means fancy; just simple and basic. And while they don’t have all the extras like shampoo and conditioner, the place is tidy, inexpensive and convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.
