It's such a beautiful place. It overlooks Ojai, rather than being down on the floor of the valley. The grounds are beautiful. And, from my breakfast table on the terrace, I watched a pair of mating hawks circle to their nearby nest.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms offer both privacy and breathtaking views over the valley. The entire retreat is in the middle of nature and feels like a little heaven out of time, even though it’s only a short drive to downtown. There are many beautiful and calm spots meant to meditate, relax, read or watch the sunset. The staff was always friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to slow down a bit, this is not only a very beautiful one but probably also the most peaceful place I’ve ever been to. I really hope I get to come back someday.

Checked in late and there were clear instructions on the process. I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom but it was a non-issue, but it was a non-issue. In a pinch there was a restroom downstairs. A bonus breakfast and beautiful setting. I would recommend :)
