We had a terrible experience. The hot tub was covered with pool and pool gate has caution tape. There were mattresses stored outside of our room. The tub made continuous noise all night. The lamps had rust and walls were poorly painted. Beds were uncomfortable.

Horrible Service

I re-booked my stay, cancelling a prior Hotels com booking do I could pay booking in full. When I arrived clerk (possibly the owner) advised that both reservations were cancelled by Hotels.com and advised me to contact Hotels com. Due to location, I had no service. I requested wifi so I can contact H.com but clerk refused to help. I asked for wifi 3 times.No help. I asked if he could call them. No help. I offered my Itinerary #, so he could look it up and read off number to make sure he had the right info. He still stated both reservations showed as cancelled. Finally, my son called Choice headquarters to complain. At that point, he began to help us and asked for Itinerary #. He said he found the paid booking. He allowed us to proceed with booking but under the condition that we end our call and complaint with Choice hotels. This incident caused us an hour of our time at 10:00 PM, loosing sleep time. When he finally proceeded with booking, it took another 10 minutes for him to take my security deposit, so he can write notes in his system. He even was about to help another customer, when I interceded. Blatant incompetence. Lack of empathy. Horrible social skills. Only helped to save his own skin from corporate backlash.

Smelly and dirty

There was a mix up with the name on the reservation so it took an hour and 20minutes to get the room key. When approaching the room the door was left wide open. Walking into the room it had a strong odor of cigarette smoke and urine. There were cigarette burn marks in the comforter. Went to front desk and lady there said it was cleaned and sometimes they leave the doors open to “air out the room. “ Gave me a new room and it smelled the same way as the other and we turned in the key and left to stay somewhere else for the weekend.

We didn’t even staid in this disgusting hotel. The mont you walk in it sticks horribly everything looks dirty. They charge a lot and it’s disgusting we had to come back home

Very close to where we needed to be. Convenient location. However, the rooms were a bit dated and run down. They are clean as best they can be. Beds are a little hard and difficult to get a good nights sleep.

I wouldn't if I were you

This place was just gross. There were stains on the toilet seat. The tub was running the whole stay. It had a heavy cleaning chemical smell however the room was not clean. Spider in the ice bucket and swimming in the tub in the water than wasn't draining during a shower. I know you get what you pay for but come on. I didn't pay $5 for the night. This place also is part of a rehabilitation program which does help reform individuals however it also brings shady characters to the property. Do yourself a favor and just pay the extra money to stay somewhere you don't have to sleep with one eye open.

The base boards in the bathroom were falling apart, the water ran out of the shower. We could hear the people next door clearly talking. All night we could hear the refrigerator running, the peoples TV, and some kind of water running. The curtain had many holes in it. Would never stay here again.

A person reached out from this property around 8pm the same day we are supposed to check-in and I updated him that we will be arriving late around 11pm. He called back again around 11:20 and was insisting to speak with me when my husband attended the call. His ask was when will I be arriving, we told him we are late due to travel hiccups and asked me why was he checking again. And, he spoke disrespectfully asking us to check-In somewhere are try to find a place for stay. He was rude and sounded like a hypocrite, surely he was an elder Indian guy and he told he is canceling and refunding the amount and not to stay at his hotel. I informed Expedia about the same and they refunded the amount in full. But even then the person at Rodeway Inn was calling me more than 21 times continuously and when we attended the call, he is not speaking or even uttered a single word. I would love to provide the screenshot which I already submitted to Expedia Agents who helped me. Please be cautious when booking hotels, i felt suspicious about this person asking irrelevant questions on our arrival which did not make any sense And I hope Expedia chose their partners wisely because customers confidante is you.
