Went out for some R&R and had a really wonderful time. We were there the weekend after thanksgiving and the hotel was desolate. I mean maybe 10 guests total in a massive resort, and that was a little strange. Being in the giant pool area all day with maybe one or two other guests felt strange. I guess everyone left after the holiday. Personally I think they should have brought the rates way down to try and fill the place because it can't be cost effective to run a place with more staff than guests. Ok, can't forget a huge shout out to the people who made it all possible. 10 stars to Justin and Kean at the front desk, and PJ who was like out personal waiter at the pool each day. Those three guys truly made us feel like family and if we come back again it'll be because of them. Improvement notes to the hotel. The rooms really need to be updated. We had cabinet doors falling off, light switches that were visibly broken, tv remotes that didn't work even with new batteries. $16 bottles of water in the rooms? Come on. Speaking of which, the tap water is dusgusting and undrinkable. I appreciate that they put a Note card in the bathrooms saying "why is our water cloudy" and trying to imply that it's still safe to drink, but it's gross. Put in a water filter and give me water that doesn't require an explanatory note. Anyway, all in all a fantastic time
