Good location but the room wa too tiny for people of 4. There was no space at all. Just bed and shower.
They need to replace the carpets everywhere and they were so dirty and smelly.
there was bags of trash all along the hallway and outside our room door, we told the front desj and they said they would not do anything about it until the nect day when the maids cleaned. whole hotel smelled disgusting and room walls were yellow and the beds were not even made nicely. DO not spend ur money here seriously disgusting place.
This place is beyond terrible. I'm a very surprised that CheapTickets has a listing for a place like this. You'll be doing yourself a huge favor by staying as far away from it as humanly possible. The only thing that was worse that their moldy, foul smelling rooms was their extrememly rude staff. The people they hire to work there aren't Japanese. It would be half as bad if their English were poor, but their Japanese is just as bad as their English -- good luck communicating with them. But their language skills aren't their biggest problem their attitude is -- I can only assume that they are terribly underpaid.
Any legitimate hotel provides two access cards for a party of two guests, three access cards for a party of three and so on. Not Livemax:they provide one card no matter how large your party is. We were told upon check in that the person at the front desk will open the door to the room should we return separately. However, when I return by myself later I found no one at the front desk. After a long while a gentleman appeared who flatly informed me that he didn't speak English. Effectively I was locked out of the room for which I paid. It was a nightmare.
The hotel is average. Ideal for someone who wants a clean place but doesn't want to spend a lot. It's located near a lively and busy location in Shinjuku - right in the middle of action. Around 15 minutes walking to Shinjuku station.
Average rooms with weird smells. Reception service is next to none. The guy with glasses literally sits on a chair all day playing with a folded piece of paper or watching TV.
Great location right in Shinjuku and close to many train stations. The hotel was fairly loud, not due to street noise/busyness but due to the baseball batting range across the street that is open until the early morning. Limited toiletries and amenities compared to other hotels in this price range that we experienced in Japan. Room size was as expected for Tokyo. Aside from location, not great value for the price, we would stay elsewhere next visit.
