The motor lodge was unclean, dirty windows, dirty and worn carpet, filthy staircase and skirtings. My room - windows had mould on them, only wall plug to use was on a wall across from bed. Terrible wifi - kept disconnecting. The shower had shampoo and conditioner, but the shampoo bottle was nearly empty, and for body wash - it was only a tiny bar of soap. Will never stay here again.

it wasn’t horrible but definitely wasn’t worth what I payed the shower pressure wasn’t great and the head was up to my shoulders. They tend to walk in your room randomly. Which is annoying.

It was a clean but basic hotel room. No air-conditioning or ceiling fans so it was quite warm. The water pressure in the shower was not great. Comfortable for one night stay.

Energy Restorer after 3-day Walk

This was an overnight stay at the end of walking the Tora Coastal walk, before a long drive back to Hamilton. The room was comfortable and very clean. Good supply of crockery, etc., and unit had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Nice view across the road to the harbour.
